The Institute of Company Secretaries of India is organizing its 50th National Convention of Company Secretarieson the theme CS: A Vishwaguru in Governance and Sustainability, from September 1-3, 2022, in Kolkata.
With a glorious past aligned with its vision, mission, and motto, the ICSI has had a very remarkable journey of its National Convention, which started in the year 1972, in New Delhi. The 1st National Convention of Company Secretaries was inaugurated at the august hands of the then Hon’ble President of India, Shri V. V. Giri, and since then the annual congregation has become anoccasion of learning, unlearning, and relearning the nuances of governance, risk, and compliance.
This year, at the 50th edition, the 3-day hybrid Convention will explore the exemplified role of Company Secretaries in promoting and strengthening the governance structure of the country in the years to come. It will be a platform for dialogues between Regulators,Academicians, IndustryLeaders, Professionals, and other Stakeholdersto discuss the increasing impact of emerging governance technologies
