The Prabhu Shri Ram—Incense with a Story’s Cultural Flower Valley was inaugurated by the Hon'ble Governor of Uttarakhand, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.), at the Vasantotsav (Flower Show) in Raj Bhavan, Dehradun today.
Shri Ganesh Joshi, Cabinet Minister for Agriculture and Horticulture, Government of Uttarakhand, was among the dignitaries who graced the occasion.
The Prabhu Shri Ram Cultural Flower Valley is a unique initiative that narrates the story of India's rich cultural heritage, especially the epic tales of the Ramayana, through an exquisite display of fragrant arrangements. This endeavor is a part of the Blooming Buds Spring Fragrance Festival, a first-of-its-kind celebration of India’s rich floral diversity. It aims to beautifully blend the art of storytelling with an wide-range of luxury incense collections.
The initiative was praised by Hon’ble Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.), who said, “This creative presentation perfectly captures India's rich culture through the medium of fragrance and seeing such innovative attempts to promote our customs is encouraging”.
Mr. Prashant Kumar, CMD of Prabhu Shri Ram Luxury Incense—Incense with a Story, shared his thoughts behind the initiative, stating, “Our aim is to make the experience as close to the real thing that connects one to the values of India's rich tradition and customs. We feel humbled by all the appreciation and support from all esteemed dignitaries and want to work with more vigour to promote the India’s cultural heritage both in India and abroad.
The Vasantotsav 2025 witnessed enthusiastic participation from visitors, who were enthralled by the thematic floral installations and the fragrant ambiance that brought the stories of the Ramayana to life. The Prabhu Shri Ram—Incense with a Story, with their Cultural Flower Valley received widespread appreciation for their dedication to rejuvenate the ethos of Indian art and culture.
The Prabhu Shri Ram Cultural Flower Valley will be open to visitors throughout the duration of the Raj Bhavan Flower Show, from March 7 to March 9, 2025. Attendees are invited to immerse themselves in this unique confluence of art, fragrance, and storytelling.
