Reinforcing its commitment to strengthening India's MSME ecosystem under the visionary leadership of Shri Dinesh Goyal, National President, Indian Industries Association (IIA), the Indian Industries Association (IIA) organised an industry interaction and media briefing at its Central Office, New Delhi, to share details of the 11th India Food Expo 2026, scheduled to be held from 18–20 September 2026 at Regalia Greens, Gomti Nagar Extension, Lucknow. The programme witnessed participation from more than 100 entrepreneurs, industrialists and MSME representatives.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Alok Agarwal, National Senior Vice President, IIA, said the Expo will feature nearly 160 exhibition stalls showcasing the latest technologies in food processing, packaging, cold chain, automation, logistics and allied sectors. He informed that eligible MSME exhibitors can avail up to 80% Government subsidy on stall bookings, as per applicable Government guidelines, with the benefit available to the first 60 eligible exhibitors.
Shri Deepak Kumar Bajaj, General Secretary, IIA, said India Food Expo has evolved into one of North India's premier business platforms for the food processing industry, bringing together manufacturers, technology providers, startups, exporters, buyers, investors and policymakers. He said the Expo will promote technology adoption, innovation, business networking, exports and investment, creating new growth opportunities for MSMEs. He also informed that IIA today represents over 16,000 members, collectively associated with nearly one lakh industrial units across the country.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Mamtamayi Priyadarshini, State Chairperson, IIA Delhi & Haryana, said the food processing sector has immense potential for employment generation, value addition, farmer prosperity and MSME growth. She said India Food Expo 2026 will provide a unique platform for industry, government, academia, startups and innovators to collaborate, accelerate technology adoption, entrepreneurship and sustainable industrial development, and contribute towards the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
Dr. Lakshmikant Pandey, CEC Member, IIA, said the Expo's technical sessions would help MSMEs adopt new technologies, improve quality and strengthen their competitiveness.
Shri Neeraj Bajaj, Secretary, IIA Delhi Chapter, said the Expo would provide MSMEs valuable opportunities for business networking, technology adoption and market expansion.
The three-day Expo will feature buyer-seller meets, technology showcases, technical seminars and expert sessions on food processing, packaging, logistics, food safety, quality certification, AI-enabled manufacturing, branding, exports and supply chain management. International business delegations are also expected to participate, creating opportunities for technology transfer, strategic partnerships and global business collaborations.
The organisers invited food processors, MSMEs, startups, machinery manufacturers, exporters, Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), institutional buyers, distributors, retailers, investors and technology providers from across the country to participate in India Food Expo 2026 and leverage the immense business opportunities offered by India's rapidly growing food processing sector.
